The Curry Room

We had a great meal at The Curry Room. The service and food were top notch. We tried both appetizers, the butter chicken, spicy beef vindaloo, and two desserts. Everything was spectacular and the portions were very generous. The staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal and even recommended a nice tea for my husband. Although it’s a set menu we felt there was plenty of choice. It’s also a nice ambiance and we could hear the live singer from upstairs. She has a beautiful voice so that added a nice touch to our meal.

The curry room is a must try. Incredible service, they all knew my name and made it a very special and wonderful experience. It’s 5 star dining. The food is impeccable. The best Indian food I’ve had. I ordered the lamb kabob and the butter chicken and both were phenomenal. The atmosphere is wonderful as well.

We first came here a few months ago for a pre-theatre dinner before watching Hamilton and loved it so much that we had to come back again! The team, especially the maitre d’, Arbindra, Nirmal, and Chef Kumar were so lovely and thoughtful throughout our visit. The vegetable korma is absolutely amazing, and the desserts, especially the honeycomb ice cream, are incredible. The atmosphere is warm and lively and it’s always such an amazing experience

We managed to secure a table at The Curry Room and were not disappointed. The food was superb and felt good value. Sarah was excellent, very attentive, efficient and friendly service. Mohan and his team should be proud of The Curry Room. We will be back.

A simply superb experience. The Curry Room won me over in every respect: the quality of the food, the professional service and the refined, welcoming atmosphere. The dishes prepared by the chef kumar were a journey of authentic flavours, with attention to every detail and served with elegance. Sincere congratulations to the chef for the creativity and skill with which he has enhanced Indian cuisine. Special thanks also go to the maitre arbindra and his assistant Nirmal that, who was always attentive and thoughtful, creating a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, and to the waiters, who were kind and impeccable, making the dinner even more enjoyable with their attentive and smiling service. A pleasant atmosphere, excellent food and impeccable hospitality: The Curry Room is truly an experience I recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy an unforgettable evening.

Great cosy restaurant nestled downstairs at Rubens at the Palace hotel. We were well looked after by the team in the restaurant, the food was fantastic (we tried the Thali which meant we could pick multiple currys). Would recommend visiting!

What a fantastic evening at the Curry Room of the Rubens Hotel! We were pleasantly surprised from every point of view and look forward to returning. The dinner was just perfect. Every dish, from curry to naan, was prepared with craftsmanship and attention to detail out of the ordinary. The flavors were authentic, rich and perfectly balanced. A real trip to India, with a touch of refinement. Our warmest congratulations to Chef Kumar for his culinary art: it was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. To make the experience even more special, however, it was the dining room team. A huge thank you to Arbindra and Nirmal: they were impeccable. Attentive, friendly, professional and always with a sincere smile. Their kindness and care helped create a welcoming and truly special atmosphere. They are the real added value of this place. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very neat and elegant, in line with the style of the Rubens Hotel, but at the same time relaxed. Highly recommended without hesitation! If you are looking for an authentic and sublime experience of Indian cuisine in London, with a service of ten and praise, the Curry Room is the right choice.
